I remember walking down Orchard Road on a Friday night of all days. I was very surprised to see crowds of people walking on the streets and there weren't any cars. Instead there were many activities that were going on and I found out it was part of a move towards a pedestrian city for SG50. There were activities like dancing and art activities for kids. It felt like a festival and was really fun. I hope there will be more events like that and in the future Singapore can achieve a pedestrian city like New York.
