Stage 1 – Bootstrap Conversations
Excited to deep dive into the most pressing issues on AI that practitioners in the industry encounter? Join our bootstrap conversations on AI and trust across healthcare, education and retail sectors. Here, you will get to apply your learnings through attending a panel discussion, followed by a small-group brainstorming session. You will also get the opportunity to cultivate new connections with industry leaders and peers.
Stage 2 – Ground-up Co-solutioning
Fresh from our bootstrap conversations and ready to dig deeper into the problem space of AI to create tangible solutions to real problems? Join us for our ground-up co-solutioning session on 15 Feb 2025 which brings participants and industry partners together to ideate and pitch solutions to the challenges of AI and trust. At this stage, you will learn from first-hand industry collaboration, and may get the opportunity to take your pitches through to prototyping as community projects. Be part of a tight-knit community with access to exclusive opportunities such as a curated tour at Google Office Singapore and fireside chats with industry leaders across education, healthcare, and retail sectors.
Stage 3* – Project Communities
Kudos for journeying with one another up till this stage! Here, you will be part of project communities tagged to a specific industry partner across education, healthcare, and retail sectors. As a community, you will develop solution prototypes for real-world implementation across a 90-day sprint with our industry partners. Guidance will be provided in the form of workshops (foundations in digital marketing and influencer marketing), and mentorship by industry experts. You will receive feedback on the prototypes and gain a more holistic understanding of what it takes to tackle these challenges brought about by AI. Stage 3 may be a culmination of the programme, but your journey in the AI space might have just begun. We hope that the learnings, skills, expertise, and connections forged along the way will serve you well as you venture forth into the less-daunting future of AI.

Jonty is Clinical Director, Population Health Office, National Healthcare Group, Singapore. He is also Director of The Health and Social Change Academy within the Centre for Healthcare Innovation, and Adjunct Professor for Clinical Studies at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
In his current role he is tasked with establishing data driven Population Health Management approaches to drive innovation and improvement in care, optimise population outcomes in north and central Singapore, and enhance equity of access to services for local residents.
Prior to this he worked as Chief Medical Officer for NHS Southeast London Integrated Care Board (ICB), helping to oversee the planning and provision of care to 2M local residents. He was also Clinical Director for Imperial College Health Partners (ICHP) – working with NHS partners in northwest London to support the adoption and spread of innovation and management of complex change across the health and care system.
Prior to his role with ICHP he was Medical Director for Primary Care and Digital Transformation in NHS England (London region) and Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) for the NHS in London – with responsibility for both primary care and digital transformation across the Capital. He continues to hold a licence as a practicing family physician (GP) and has recently been awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is an Executive Coach, author and media doctor.

A/Prof. Ng Yih Yng is the Director of the Digital and Smart Health Office for the Ng Teng Fong Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and a faculty with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKC-SOM), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Digital Health and AI, as well as the clinical director of the LKC-SOM, NTU World Health Organisation collaborating centre for Digital Health & Health Education.
He is a Senior Consultant, Department of Preventive & Population Medicine at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital involved in Population Health and Digital Health Transformation.
His focus is on innovation development work at the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI), running a Hospital without Walls program to digitalise healthcare and Health Empowered by AI Launchpad (HEAL), an AI adoption initiative in the National Healthcare Group to support clinical care, analytics and research.
He has clinical interest in resuscitation, digital health, innovation, AI and public health systems.

Ai Ling Sim-Devadas is a patient advocate, breast cancer survivor and a patient engagement professional. Committed to grow patient engagement in Singapore’s healthcare landscape, she is bringing patients’ voices to medical research and education through NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s Office of Patient Engagement (OPEN)
In her work to elevate patients’ voices in healthcare and deepen patient-public partnership for medical research and education, she had been involved in projects on the impact of AI in Medicine for patients and public.
She embarked on the patient advocacy journey as the Founding Co-Chair (2018-2022) and now the Patient Mentor at the SingHealth Patient Advocacy Network, Singapore’s first Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). She also brings patient perspectives to a number of forums including being a member of the TRUST Data Access Committee (DAC) and the Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) Consumer Panel. She a board member of the Alliance of Patient Organizations Singapore (APOS). Globally, she serves on The Beryl Institute Global Patient and Family Advisory Board as the first Asian board member to bring patients and families’ perspectives from this region.
Dr Goh Wen Bin Wilson

Dr Wilson Goh is Chief Data Scientist, Centre of AI in Medicine in Nanyang Technological University and Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Imperial College London. He is head of the Data Science Research Programme, and Co-Director of the Centre for Biomedical Informatics.
He is interested in harnessing the potential of complex multi-modal clinical datasets, with an eye towards implementation and deployment of AI solutions in hospital settings, particularly mental health. More recently, his team has been working on implementation science projects, which includes trying to understand how clinicians trust and engage with AI.

Dr David Huang is the Associate Dean/ Strategic Support and Analytics at the Office of Education Research, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NIE/NTU) ), Singapore. He is also a senior education research scientist at NIE’s Centre for Research on Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP).
David is a recipient of the Australian Endeavour Fellowship’2017, the Johannesburg Institute for Advanced Study (JIAS) Fellowship’2019 and the ARMS-NCURA fellowship’2016.
David’s research interests include learning and transfer, AI for Education, human-AI augmented cognition, and innovation management. His recent research involves profiling and characterising learners through educational data mining of Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) datasets and optimising personalised pedagogical supports for learner agency and robust learning.
Dr Kwa Lay Ping
Senior Teaching and Learning Specialist, Singapore Polytechnic
Dr Kwa Lay Ping, a Senior T&L Specialist at Singapore Polytechnic, is a trailblazer in educational innovation. As the first polytechnic recipient of the President's Award for Teachers in 2017, she has garnered multiple teaching accolades in Singapore and the United States. Ping's expertise spans communication skills, design thinking, digital media and data storytelling, which she imparts at the School of Life Skills and Communication.
Ping's passion lies in equipping educators with practical, transformative tools that breathe new life into the learning space. She champions the critical importance of generative AI literacy, believing that it is essential for both lecturers and students to harness this technology's potential and navigate its challenges. Leading by example, Ping integrates generative AI into her own classes, preparing learners for a future where AI literacy is as fundamental as digital literacy.
A catalyst for change, Ping has empowered over 2,000 fellow educators in the past 18 months through electrifying keynotes, hands-on workshops, and innovative webinars. Her recent engagements include speaking at the AI in Education Forum 2024 and the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2024, where she shared her research on using a customised AI chatbot for curriculum vetting.
Dr Samson Tan Yong Tiong
Director, Learning and Professional Development Division at Institute for Adult Learning
As the Director of the Learning and Professional Development Division (LPDD), Samson spearheads IAL's strategic initiatives to advance adult education, champion workplace learning, and elevate the professional standards of Continuing Education and Training (CET) practitioners within the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector.
Samson's extensive experience in the education sector encompasses leadership roles such as Head of Centre in Innovation in Learning at the National Institute of Education, where he spearheaded learning innovations, and his tenure at Republic Polytechnic, where he drove the development of continuing education and the digital transformation of learning.
Samson's academic accomplishments include a Doctorate in Education from the University of Western Australia, a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Hull, a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Physics from the National University of Singapore, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education.
Claudia Lai Jing Ying
Technical Associate at Red Hat
Claudia’s journey in Artificial Intelligence began during her studies at SUTD, where she explored the intersection of Design Thinking and AI. She developed a strong foundation for applying innovative solutions to complex challenges by leveraging AI tools to enhance her projects.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to the startup world, where she co-founded Silver Online Service, a social enterprise dedicated to enhancing digital accessibility for older people. As a leader, Claudia managed a cross-functional team to develop a senior-friendly mobile application, securing significant funding and recognition for its societal impact. This experience deepened her commitment to using technology for meaningful societal change.
Claudia is pursuing her career as a Technical Associate at Red Hat, pursuing a career path toward becoming a Solutions Architect. She hopes to find herself, her passions and interests through her first job, keeping community building a core value she holds onto even on her corporate journey.
