Library System Change

We are changing our library system from 10 Nov (10pm) to 12 Nov 2023.

During this period, patrons may continue to borrow and return library items at our public libraries or visit our reference libraries during their opening hours. Please note that our libraries and archives will be closed on Deepavali, 12 Nov 2023.

Other services will NOT be available at our libraries and online during this period, such as:

Public Libraries

• Catalogue services
• Comics Library at Anchorpoint will be temporarily closed
• Study Lounge and Grab-n-Go at Level 5 of the National Library Building will be temporarily closed
• Grab-n-Go services at library@harbourfront and Borrow-n-Go services at Punggol Regional Library
• Book Dispenser at Marine Parade

Items borrowed and returned during this period will be reflected in your library account from 13 Nov 2023.

Patrons may still use the NLB Mobile app to borrow eBooks, eMagazines and read SPH eNewspapers.

Delivery Services

• Registration for The Little Book Box (TLBB) is unavailable from 10 to 13 Nov.
• Borrow-n-Deliver is unavailable from 1 to 13 Nov.
