Abstract
A MediaCorp Arts Central programme shown over 8 episodes, which takes a refreshing look at the lives of artistes and the different genres of performing arts. In each episode, an artist takes on a new arts discipline, which provides viewers with an interesting cross-disciplinary experience and appreciation of the different art forms by emphasising to viewers the precision and effort needed to cultivate good art. In episode 8, we see actress Koh Chieng Mun experience the dimension of what it is like being an actor director. Her coach in the art of film making is Cheek, a director and producer who has won numerous including the Discovery Award at the 2001 Toronto International Film Festival.
