Abstract
A twelve-year old girl is thrown into a web of treachery, deceit and evil when her pet chicken, Jerry, goes missing. Dark humour ensues as the little sleuth misinterprets the remarks and intentions of a set of shady suspects she meets on the quest to find her chicken. In the end, it becomes arguable as to who has the more questionable motive.
