Originally a well-known Chinese pop song from the forties, it was recorded in English in 1951 as a tribute to Rose Chan, the most famous stripper in Malaysia and Singapore. The English version actually made it to the British charts besides doing very well in Asia. Dick first covered the song in 1986 in his album. He stuck to the original 1951 lyrics which is very appropriate to his romantic version. Programming by Case Woo and Paul T. Keyboards by Dick Lee. Acoustic guitar by Shah Tahir. Backing vocals by Dick Lee.
