Abstract
"With her documentary, film-maker Nadia Zhdanova sets out to trace the career of Grigory Sokolov, an artist who never gives interviews but who is brought to life here through interviews with his friends and colleagues, as well as through hitherto unpublished archival material. Sokolov stopped appearing with orchestras some time ago, but has now agreed to the release of two live recordings dating from 2005 and 1995"--Container.
