Abstract
A young woman, Siti, from a small village in Sulawesi, Indonesia, leaves her infant son and husband to work as a maid in Singapore in the hope of giving her family a better life. The film looks at the hardship of domestic workers and the abuses against them by their employers and the agencies that train and hire them.
