Safe-distancing markers at void decks

Information About

"I took this photo as part of a series called "Lepak Downstairs" that captured old-school stools and tables found in HDB void decks, taken from a bird's-eye view that brings out their interesting shapes and colours. As the series was taken during Covid, markers were placed on the seats to promote safe-distancing. The markers made the photo even more interesting, and unique to this period."--Contributed by Tan Chun Kiat Jonathan, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph shows a top view of a round table with 5 chairs at a void deck of a flat during phase 3 of re-opening. Alternate seats have been marked with an "X" to prevent sitting and ensure safe distancing. Additional description by Library staff.
