Abstract
A MediaCorp Arts Central programme shown over 8 episodes, which takes a refreshing look at the lives of artistes and the different genres of performing arts. In each episode, an artist takes on a new arts discipline, which provides viewers with an interesting cross-disciplinary experience and appreciation of the different art forms by emphasising to viewers the precision and effort needed to cultivate good art. In episode seven, TV/Theatre actress, Janice Koh, takes on the challenge of learning Cantonese opera from Mdm Joanna Wong, a cultural medallion winner and artistic director of the Chinese Theatre Circle and a renowned leading opera actress.
