Information About

Each year, migratory birds like the Pacific Golden Plover would have travelled easily 10,000 km from their breeding grounds in the Arctic to the mudflats of Sungei Buloh to spend their ‘winter holiday’. Join conservation biologist Yong Ding Li as he talks about the trials and tribulations of migratory birds in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway, a vast set of migratory bird routes which Singapore is a part of. He will also share his work in documenting the sounds of migratory songbirds.
