Abstract
Small Kulop operates a tailoring business in Singapore. He is dismayed to learn that Big Kulop has opened a bigger and more modern shop next to his. Their professional rivalry soon extends to their personal lives, as they also become neighbours and compete for the affections of their landlord, Miss Banun. At the same time, their daughters, Ani and Ana, fall in with two young men, O.K. Mat and Abdul Wahid. They go on dates and swap partners, which both their fathers oppose to. As O.K. Mat and Abdul Wahid strive for the approval of Ani and Ana's fathers, they sense an opportunity to win their hearts by saving Big Kulop and Small Kulop's businesses, which have run into financial trouble from their haphazard business strategies.
