Abstract
"Always on my mind" (1993) is about self-discovery of a man after being diagnosed with an incurable disease. Michael Hui plays the title role as the coward newscaster-turned-opportunistic-moneygrubber, with much help from his "beloved" family. "Always on my mind" is a vicious satire that exposes the media industry as somewhat fraudulent, weak, and shallow. All these end up to a rare comedy with a refined combination of laughters with tears and happiness with sorrow. , "抢钱夫妻"(1993)是许冠文笑中带泪的代表作品, 讲述新闻报导员患上绝症而发自内心的转变, 被竞争头崩额裂的香港传媒利用而引发起种种疯狂"抢钱"行为, 许冠文也改变了过往风格, 除了较多的家庭、子女描写外, 还加入较感性深层的社会讽刺意味, 和较悲伤的结局.
