Abstract
In this documentary on Taiwanese filmmaker Tsai Ming-Liang, Tsai recalls his childhood in the '60s to the '80s in Malaysia that was filled with daily cinema visits. His childhood memories influence his filmmaking to this day, creating controversial films with voids, spaces and the freedom to evolve into other art forms.
