This is a close-up of Mr. Seong Koon Low Won (上官流云), a veteran composer-singer from Malaysia who first came to Singapore in 1938. He penned over 300 Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien songs, and was a popular personality in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan from the 1960s through the 1980s.
