This is the façade of the single-storey Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at 24, Highland Road. The Catholic Church was built and completed in 1953. It was blessed by Reverend Monsignor Lucas, Papal delegate for Malaya and Singapore, on 13 December 1953. The first Parish Priest was Reverend Father Moses Koh (Jan 1954). Additional wings were added under the administration of Reverend Father Pierre Barthoulot in 1992. Title devised by Library staff.
