This 1992 photograph shows the corridor stairways of Chinese High School on Bukit Timah Road. In 2005, it merged with Hwa Chong Junior College to form Hwa Chong Institution, offering a new six-year Integrated Programme where students study from secondary one to junior college year two, skipping GCE 'O' Levels and proceed directly to GCE 'A' Levels. In 1999, the school's clock tower was gazetted as a national monument.
