This is a close-up of Dr. Richard Eu Keng Mun, Chairman of Singapore Anti-tuberculosis Association (SATA) from 1961 to 1966. He was Chairman of Singapore Cancer Society (1964-1971), Community Chest of Singapore (May 1992-Jul 2000), Eu Yan Sang Holdings Limited (1978-1993) and Governing Council of Singapore Institute of Management (Nov 1964-1995); Managing Director of Lee Wah Bank Limited (1950-1977); and Director (Jul 1973-1980) and later Vice-Chairman of United Overseas Bank Group (1980-Dec 1989). He was conferred the Public Service Medal and the Public Service Star in 1995 and 2000 respectively. His father, Mr. Eu Tong Sen (余东旋), expanded the family business of traditional Chinese medicine under Eu Yan Sang medical hall, and was the founder of Lee Wah Bank in 1920.
