The island is presently a landfill set up by the Singapore Government in 1999. This village comprised of a small community of subsistence fishermen who made a living off the nearby reefs. Photograph donated by Soh Ek Chor and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_628. Title devised by Library staff.
