This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Chia Shi Teck, President of Singapore Scout Association from 1995 to 2002. He was a Nominated Member of Parliament (Sep 1992-Sep 1994); founder, Managing Director and later Chairman of Heshe Holdings Pte Ltd (1971-2003); Vice-President of Singapore Textile and Garment Manufacturers' Association(1991); and President of National Productivity Association (1983-1985). He stood as an independent candidate for Choa Chu Kang in the 1997 General Election. Title devised by Library staff.
