This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Ong Say Teck alias Huang Shide, Principal of Kiau Nam School and later Qiaonan Primary School (侨南小学) from September 1959 to 1986. He was Member of Paya Lebar Community Centre Management Committee (1966-1976) and Aljunied Citizens' Consultative Committee (1974-1986). Title devised by Library staff.
