This 1984 photograph depicts the exterior of a shophouse at no. 261 Tembeling Road (east side near East Coast Road corner). The two-storey shophouse features a doorway flanked by two windows with security bars on the ground floor, and three French windows with timber louvred shutters on the upper floor. The doorway and all the windows are topped with transoms to provide additional light and ventilation. Title devised by Library staff.
