This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Tan Soo Khoon, People's Action Party Member of Parliament for Alexandra (1976-1988), Brickworks GRC (1988-1991), Bedok GRC (1991-1997) and East Coast GRC (Kampong Chai Chee) (1997-2006). He was President of Singapore Clock and Watch Trade Association (1973, 1984-1999); Chairman of Kuo Chuan Community Centre Management Committee (1974); and Deputy Speaker (1985-1989) and later Speaker of Parliament (1989-2002).
