Information About

This 1993 photograph shows Circular Road (from North Canal Road corner). Rows of shophouses line both sides of the street. Several parked vehicles including vans and cars, can be seen on either side of the road. To the left of the picture, is a fire hydrant located on a pavement in front of a shophouse. The Expressionist style shophouse designed by Ho Kwong Yew, one of Singapore's well-known architects, can also be seen in the background. Title devised by Library staff.
