This picture shows pupils of Bukit Merah North School at Road Safety Park (now Road Safety Community Park) at East Coast Park Way during a school excursion. They learn road safety measures such as stopping at traffic lights and using hand signals to alert other riders. The aim of the excursion is to inculcate safety awareness in schoolchildren.
