This photograph shows a close-up top view of the exhumed grave of Augustine Padmore Williams at the Bidadari Christian cemetery. The dug-up grave is empty. At the surface is the remains of the headstone with inscribed information of the interred. A merchant mariner who left the sea to work in ship chandling, Williams was also known as Augustus Padmore Williams. He died in 1916. Title by Library staff. Description by Library staff.
