This photograph shows a yellow box scheme poster at an MRT train platform. The yellow box is a zone in front of train doors where no one should be standing. The yellow box campaign was introduced to prevent blocking of train doorways for alighting passengers to get off safely, thus facilitating the flow of passengers. The poster shows, in English and Chinese, that the "yellow box scheme will be fully implemented at City Hall and Raffles MRT stations on 15 April 1993". Title devised by Library staff.
