This is a façade of the three-storey Chung Hwa Free Clinic (中华医院) at 202, Telok Ayer Street. The clinic has two branches, one at Serangoon Road and the other at Geylang Road. The clinics are managed by Singapore Chinese Physicians' Association (新加坡中医师公会). In 1979, the Toa Payoh Chung Hwa Free Clinic was built using fund donated by the public.
