Young Dr. Wu Lien-teh (standing, back row, at extreme right) had just returned from England. All five sons were standing behind their parents, who were flanked by three male grandchildren. This photograph shows ten members of the family of Dr. Wu Lien-teh, a Penang-born physician. Except for Dr. Wu who is in a suit and sporting a Western hairstyle, the family members are dressed in Chinese costumes and the male members have queues on. Title devised by Library staff.
