This is a façade of Ngee Ann Primary School at Marine Parade. Ngee Ann Girls' School (义安女校) was established at River Valley Road in 1940. In January 1980, the School was renamed "Ngee Ann Primary School". The school was temporarily located at Temasek Primary School (Jan 1980-Jun 1982) before relocating to Marine Parade and was officially declared open by Mr. Goh Chok Tong, Member of Parliament for Marine Parade, on 30 March 1994. In December 1998, the school moved to a holding school at Tanjong Katong Road while waiting for a new school building to be completed. The school finally moved back to Marine Parade in December 2000.
