General Manager, Mr. Yong Nyuk Lin (extreme right, standing) delivers his speech to the guests at the opening of the two branches of Overseas Assurance Corporation Limited, at 68 Klyne Street in Kuala Lumpur and 18 Station Street in Klang. He joined OAC in 1941 and left in 1959 for politics. He became Minister for Education (1959-1963), Health (1963-1968) and Communications (1968-Jul 1975); PAP Member of Parliament for Geylang West (1959-1980); and High Commissioner to Britain (Sep 1975-Jul 1977).
