This 1973 photograph shows East Coast Road, at the corner of Ceylon Road. A two-storey shophouse stands at the corner of the two roads. Several roadside stalls can be seen opposite the shophouse, with customers milling around. A large sign bearing the name "Bata" hangs on the side of the shophouse. Title devised by Library staff.
