This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Professor Lee Soo Ann, Captain of the First Company (1961-1968), President (1979-1981) and Honorary Vice-President of the Boys' Brigade, Singapore (2010-to date). He joined University of Singapore in 1961 as an Assistant Lecturer, served as Master of Raffles Hall (1973) and was promoted to Professor in 1981. He was Member of the Board of Trustees (1970) and the Board of Directors (1980) of NTUC INCOME; Member of the Board of Directors of NTUC COMFORT (1981); Dean of the Faculty of Accountancy and Business Administration at National University of Singapore (1980); Member of the Employee's Panel of the Industrial Arbitration Court (1971); Chairman of St. Luke's Hospital (1993-1998) and Presbyterian Welfare Services (1998); General Secretary of the Bible Society of Singapore (1990-2003); Area Board Member of United Bible Societies APTSOCAP (1991-2003); and Senior Fellow in Economics at National University of Singapore (2000-to date). He was awarded the Public Service Medal in 1998. His wife, Dr. Lee Tsao Yuan, was Director of the Institute of Policies Studies (Mar 1997-Nov 2000). Title devised by Library staff.
