This is a 1982 photograph with a view of Bukit Timah Canal from a bridge at Kampong Java Road and Thomson Road corner (towards Newton Circus). There are trees on both sides of the canal and a van can be seen travelling on the road. Aerial poles can also be seen along the road with cables connected between the poles.
