This is a view of the entrance to Headquarters Singapore Artillery at Kangaw Camp. Before 1976, the headquarters was located at Taman Jurong Camp. After July 1983, it was moved to Khatib Camp in Sembawang Road and became known as "Home of the Gunner". Before the British forces withdrawal in 1971, Kangaw Camp was known as "HMS Simbang". When Kangaw Camp was handed over to the Republic of Singapore Air Force, it was renamed as "Sembawang Air Base". Title devised by Library staff.
