This is a family portrait of Mr. Sajjad Ahmad Akhtar, member (1987) and later the 66th President of Rotary Club of Singapore, who served from July 2000 to 2001. He joined international accounting and consulting firm, Arthur Andersen Singapore (now defunct), as an accountant in 1975 and later became a Partner (1984) and Senior Partner in the firm (1992-2002). He is also an accredited member of Panel of Arbitrators of Singapore International Arbitration Centre and Panel of Mediators of Singapore Mediation Centre; Council Member of Accounting Standards Council (2007-2009) and Bukit Timah Community Development Council or CDC (2001); Councillor of South West CDC (2002-2009); Managing Director of Corporate Advisory Partners Private Limited (later PKF-CAP Private Limited), an accounting and consultancy firm he co-founded in 2002; and Independent Director of Pacnet Internet Limited (Feb 2007-2008). His wife, Ruby, is an English teacher at Canadian International School. They have three sons, Aasim, Usman, and Emaad. He was awarded Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2007.
