This is a design and build project undertaken by Akitek Tenggara and led by Tay Kheng Soon. The design team introduced many groundbreaking design considerations for a HDB estate such as greater block depth to increase density and reduce block length, a central entrace to create a strong identity, column structure to allow for maximum flexibility for room layout, a central communal open space and underground car parks to minimise street noise and hazardous vehicular traffic, children's play areas and covered access from the car parks to all lift lobbies.
