This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mrs. Ellice Handy, the first post-war principal of Methodist Girls' School from 1945 to 1957. She was an old girl of the school and was the first Singaporean to write a recipe book entitled "My favourite recipes". Title devised by Library staff.
