This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Madam Ursula Snodgrass, Principal of Beatty Secondary School from January 1983 to December 1985. She was a former student at Katong Convent School (1958-1959); Principal of Kaki Bukit Secondary School (1977-1978) and Chai Chee Secondary School (Jan 1979-1980); and Deputy Director of Testing and Assessment Branch at Ministry of Education (1998-2002). Her husband was Mr. Robert Quah Sieu Eng. She was daughter of Mr. John Anthony Snodgrass, a former teacher at St. Patrick's School (1933-1947), and Madam Theresa Lee (eldest daughter of Mr. Lee Kwee Siew). Title devised by Library staff.
