A contingent of navy cadets are exercising in front of the RSS Panglima-School of Naval Training. The school adopted the name of RSS Panglima which was decomissioned in 1991 after 36 years of service. In January 2006, Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Minister of Defence, officially declared open the RSS Panglima-Changi Naval Training Base, a centralised training facility of the RSN.
