This is a facade of the Leong San See temple or Long Shan Tang temple (龍山寺) at 371, Race Course Road. The roof is elaborately decorated with fine ceramic carvings of dragons, chimeras, phoenix and flowers. The Buddhist temple was established in 1913 by Reverend Chun Wu and the main deity residing in the temple is the Goddess of Mercy (观音菩萨 or Kuan Yin). Title devised by Library staff.
