This is a photograph showing the late Amir of Kuwait (Amir is the arabic word for commander, general or prince), His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with a delegation, probably after a tour of the Jurong Town Hall (now renamed iHUB). On the left is a board with the words "Welcome to H H Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Amir of the State of Kuwait" supported by poles flying colourful banners. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated.
