This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Mohamed Latiff bin Mohamed, a writer (since 1966) and a retired teacher (1968-2000). He served as Special Writer at Curriculum Development Institute of Singapore (CDIS) (1982-1995); Language Instructor for officer cadet trainees (OCT); and Documentation Officer for Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) at Changi Air Base. He is a life-member of Angkatan Sasterawan '50 (ASAS '50). Among the numerous awards he received include Pingat Bakti Setia (Long Service Medal) from the Singapore Government in 1988 and long service award from Ministry of Education in 1999.
