This 1971 photograph shows the exterior of a shophouse, located at Tembeling Road (near Koon Seng Road corner towards East Coast Road). The two-storey shophouse features a façade decorated with pilasters and plaster mouldings. On the ground floor is a doorway with "pintu pagar" or swing doors, flanked by windows with security bars, while on the upper floor is a French window flanked by two casement windows, all with timber louvred shuttters.
