Information About

This 1982 photograph depicts the Malayan Motor building, located at No. 14 Orchard Road. The three-storey building was designed in the Art Deco and Modernist styles, and it features a distinctive scallop-edged arch and a protruding windowed column in the centre of its façade. The Malayan Motors (Pte) Ltd signage is displayed prominently on the exterior on the ground level. Other signages such as Clubman, Allegro, Jaguar, Daimler, as well as a Morris billboard sign can also be seen in the picture. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
