This 1968 photograph shows a shophouse probably from the early style featuring an ornamented gable, dentilled cornice, and a roof balustrade. This shophouse is situated at Orchard Road, so named due to the orchards and plantations that existed there until the turn of the 20th century. Title devised by Library staff.
