This is a group photograph of Mr. Chuang Hui Chuan (庄惠泉, centre, in white suit), community leaders, and members of Force 136, a British-led resistance group fighting the Japanese in Malaya during World War II, in Penang, Malaysia. Mr. Chuang, a businessman and a member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, was also a member of Force 136 during the war. Title devised by Library staff.
