The image shows a general view of the Newcastle railway station on Neville Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. The main entrance of the railway station (also referred to as Central station) is seen on the right of the postcard, with other buildings on Neville Street on the left. Trams and pedestrians are also seen on Neville Street. An "x" is marked on top of a building on the left. The postcard bears the captions "Neville Street and Central Station, Newcastle on Tyne" at the top in the middle of the postcard and "03361 J.V." at the bottom right corner of the postcard.
