This is a photograph of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew (centre), Prime Minister of Singapore, placing a palmful of flowers on the memorial of Messrs. Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. On the extreme right is Mr. Lal Bahadur Shashtri, the third Prime Minister of India (1964-1966). Lee was in Bombay, India, for the Asian Socialist Conference on 6 May 1965.
