This photograph shows a two-storey shophouse along Syed Alwi Road. The upper floor has a mix of wooden louvre windows and modern glass windows. The ground floor is occupied by a fruit shop on the left, with displays of the fruits extending to the kerb, and a hardware shop next to it. A large lorry filled with large rattan baskets is parked nearby and a man is seen unloading the baskets onto the roadside.
